Office Manager

We are looking for a highly organized and efficient individual to join our small team of architects in the heart of downtown Blacksburg. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, have a sense of humor, and contribute to the positive work environment. We can work with the prospective candidate to create a schedule that works well for everyone.

The position offers:

·         Part-time w/ the opportunity for full-time

·         Potential for some remote work after the introductory period

As our Office Manager, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

·         Managing the office schedule and calendar

·         Assist in preparing reports and presentations

·         Managing the firm’s social media presence

·         Ordering supplies and keeping track of inventory

·         Greeting clients and answering phones

·         Filing and organizing documents

·         And much more!

We're looking for someone who is:

·         Organized and efficient

·         Detail-oriented and accurate

·         Able to work independently and as part of a team

·         A good communicator with both clients and staff

·         Eager to learn new skills

·         And, of course, has a sense of humor

Preferred qualifications include:

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs

·         Experience with QuickBooks

·     Bachelor’s Degree

·         Social media and communications experience
